Bio

Fanie Dick was born and raised in Durban, South Africa.

The ability to play guitar Fanie recognized it in 2012. Fanie is now established jazz artist of today and has inferred in this kind of genre from the likes of international artists (guitarists) such as Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Earl Klugh, Joe Pass, Jonathan Butler and many more. He started his carrier by playing in jazz clubs where at time get mixed with other artists. He has also played in public galleries like KZN Music Imbizo, Ugu Jazz Festival, Ukhozi Jazz Experience, King Zwelithini Stadium, Bat Centre, Ebhodweni Lifestyle, Jazz Rainbow, and many countless arenas, hence he is categorized as an experienced artist.

Fanie shared stage with Chris Walker and Regina Belle from America.  Ringo Madlingozi  (Afro pop legend).  Thandiswa Mazwayi (Afro Soul)  Tsepo Tsola (Pop legend)  Zakes Bantwini (Dance / Electronic)  Zonke Dikana (Rythm and Blues)  Madala Kunene (Jazz Fusion legend)  and many more.

Fanie has no objection in working with other artists if needs arises. By his character he is a perfectionist, he is rarely satisfied with the result of his work, perhaps it is this quality in tandem with perseverance and hard work that makes his move forward. 

With his work, Fanie would like not only to impress his listeners, but also to influence the development of musical culture in the country as a whole.
